Are you visiting merridale on your vacation or just wanting a weekend away in the Valley? Why not stay the night or weekend with us? Our two yurts on the property are complete with everything you need for a relaxing weekend away. Traditional yurts have been around since before the 13th century and known for their spiritual and calming benefits. Merridale's yurts are one room cabins that let you experience the peacefulness of the countryside. Unwind after your day with a soak in the tub and the gentle warmth of the gas fireplace, as the birds and breeze lull you to sleep. The next morning, you can look forward to a breakfast of fresh coffee or tea alongside fresh baked goods from our fire brick oven, and served on the yurt’s patio deck. We guarantee you’ll leave feeling well rested.
If you’re traveling with a larger group or our yurts are booked for the night, we’ve compiled a list of great local B&B’s and hotels in the area. We want to make sure that your experience in the countryside is relaxing and that you get a chance to see the treasures that make us proud to call it home.
A few things to consider … while Fido may be a part of your family, we believe that he will be more comfortable at home as we do not allow pets in the yurts. Also, like with traditional camping, you will need to trek your personal items along the short gravel paths to your accommodations from the main parking area, since the yurts are not vehicle accessible. Upon booking, we require a 25% deposit and a credit card number. Cancellations prior to 5 days before the reservation will result in a refund of your deposit. Cancellations within 5 days of the reservation, the deposit will be forfeited. No-shows will be charged a full night's stay.
