Merridale also offers a large bridal dressing room with plenty of room for the mother of the bride or bridal party to assist her. After the wedding ceremony, while taking your wedding photographs in the orchard, your wedding guests can socialize over drinks and appetizers down by the pond.
If you are looking for an outdoor wedding location, you won’t have to worry about Vancouver Island rain. Our large covered patio overlooks the orchard and has heaters, if needed.
The Cider House, a modern reception venue with cathedral ceilings and full-length windows, may also be reserved for late-night dancing.
The cellar is stocked with many premium Vancouver Island wines, our own hand-crafted BC cider, and other spirits. Merridale can also provide wedding tents − and the natural setting of the apple orchard does most of the wedding decorating for you.

Hours of Availability for Wedding Venue Rentals
We live in a rural area, and respect our neighbour's right to quiet. Cider House wedding receptions must be finished by 11pm and we ask that you leave the property quietly. Live or outside music must end by 10pm at the Cider House.
