If you have a special event coming up, Merridale makes a beautiful venue for Vancouver Island weddings, family reunions, special group meetings and business meetings.
Pond Side Venue Space 
The quiet rural setting of the orchard and fields, alongside the water’s edge of our pond is the perfect place for large group meetings or gatherings. Generally this space is reserved for groups of 35, and we can accommodate up to 150 people depending upon the particulars for your event. We offer a tented area for protection from the elements, chairs, tables, and a sound system. The menus are designed to complement our outdoor venue space - hot and cold appetizers and a BBQ buffet cooked alongside the pond. Price for space varies depending upon the function type, so give us a call at the ciderhouse to discuss your specific needs.
Brandy House
The distillery is a unique venue that lends itself well to stand up receptions. The room is full of barrels (now ageing our Calavados style brandy), our German copper still, and stainless steel tanks full of spirits. Private functions in this room can be customized to meet your requests and we offer tastings, appetizers, and even a mini-seminar on distilling for those intrigued with the art. Call us with your dreams. We will be happy to create a special event for your group or company. Group size and price varies depending upon type of function.
Outside Deck Space
If you have a large family gathering, then the ciderhouse deck is the perfect place. Our Tuscan style in-cider lunch, brick oven lunch, or pizza will accommodate just about everyone’s tastes, and the ambience is sure to please. Children are welcome and we have created a faeries orchard walk for their entertainment – just in case they get a bit fidgeted at the table! Large group sizes do need to be reserved in advance, so don’t hesitate to give us a call to book your date.
