Since the early Greeks, apple cider vinegar has been known for its antibiotic properties and today, Ayurvedic practitioners use it to revitalize the skin. Experience the health benefits of apple cider yourself, with this intimate Vancouver Island spa experience featuring specialty cider soaps, foot scrubs, and other spa products made from our organic apples.
With acres of quiet orchard hills, our rustic yurts, and comforting body treatments, Merridale’s spa is a natural escape from urban stress.
Located in a BC cider orchard, this unique Vancouver Island spa experience lets you rejuvenate among flowering green shrubs, the scent of apple blossoms, and country-style buildings.
Treatments include massages, manicures, pedicures.
Spa packages also feature many unique Vancouver Island spa products, including treatments that combine Epsom salt and our own hand-crafted Scrumpy apple cider vinegar which leaves the skin feeling smooth, clean, and soft.
Our spa is also the perfect place to relax en mass, so grab the girls or gang from work and enjoy a day of serious relaxing with our spa group parties. All of our spa group packages begin with a guided tour and cider tastings at our cider bar; then when you’re nicely mellow, enjoy pampering for four, serenity for six, bliss for eight. . .with nothing but relaxation and perhaps a spa snack on your group’s ‘to do’ list. Naturally, spa treatments can also be ordered à la carte by groups or individuals.
After a massage or facial, guests can make their way to our relaxation patio to enjoy local tapas-style food and fresh fruit. Spa packages can also include lunch at our Bistro, or even accommodation for the night. On the relaxation patio, we also offer guests the option of outdoor manicures and pedicures.
Outside of the spa, you'll find natural orchard pathways, a Cider House, tasting bar, and the temperate climate of the Cowichan Valley−the perfect Vancouver Island spa retreat for couples and groups.
